Our aim is to provide complete assurance and confidence in the quality of BBSP's Tecan compatible automated pipette tips.
To this end, our pipette tips are manufactured in a highly controlled environment using a sophisticated manufacturing process. Our automated pipette tips are first carefully designed, tested and validated using advanced tooling techniques for the mould. The production process is fully integrated with multiple quality control steps at each stage. Each tip is not only checked by automated machine vision to ensure straightness and uniformity, but also functional performance checks are performed on each tip batch.

- Pipette tip level and retention (using H 2 O, EtOH and DMSO).
- Pipette tip liquid residual quantification.
- Tip loading and unloading.
- Length (physical and effective).
- Curvature (high density microplate pathways).
Common problems such as static build-up are also addressed in production processes where stringent anti-static measures are implemented. By applying these stringent quality control procedures, tight dimensional and performance tolerances are achieved, allowing us to consistently guarantee accurate and precise pipetting.
